PNG
a lossless raster format that supports transparent backgrounds. It is commonly chosen for logos, screenshots, interface graphics, and images with transparency.
ICO
a Windows icon container that may hold several image sizes. It is commonly chosen for application icons, shortcuts, and website favicons.
Before you convert
The conversion changes the file container to ICO. Pixel dimensions are kept unless the destination format requires a different representation.
